“Hi, welcome to Unlock Thailand Ltd.  I assume that if you have got this far on our web site, you have a real interest in setting up some type of manufacturing and/or distribution facility in Thailand.

I have spent all my working life involved in different types of engineering. My own company, Spheric Engineering Ltd, specialised in the production of very high precision steel balls for use in many applications, including bearings, pumps and measuring equipment. Because we exported 90% of our sales, I soon developed a first hand knowledge of non UK markets. When this very successful company was sold in 2001, I was asked by the new owners to set up an organisation in Thailand that included building a substantial factory, setting up the structures, employing the staff, organising suppliers and dealing with the red tape.

I have always enjoyed creating things and working with and understanding different cultures. Thailand is daunting. But the rewards of working with a fast developing country and enthusiastic work force that are anxious to learn are tremendous.
